Fitters MateIn order to work in Ireland a non-EEA National, unless they are exempted, must hold a valid employment permit. The main knowledge, skills and experience required for the Fitters Mate are outlined as follows: Minimum of 3 years’ experience working in a similar role, preferably in utilities/ water and wastewater industry. Experience on Irish Water projects a distinct advantage. Manual handling and safe pass required. Trailer Licence, Telehandler, MEWP, abrasive wheel tickets must be up to date and will be considered advantageous. Basic understanding of health and safety standards and the ability to embrace the safety ethos of the organisation.
