The Department of Defence invites applications for appointment to the position of Lifeguard/Pool Maintenance Operator (General Operative Band 3 Rural). This competition is open to all candidates who meet the minimum eligibility criteria.  The appointment is to a part time permanent General Operative Band 3 (rural), Lifeguard, DFTC Curragh Camp, Co Kildare. You will be employed during the opening hours of the swimming pool, 0700hrs – 2100hrs Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and 0800hrs – 1600hrs Saturday. The appointment will be based on you working 20 hours per week. The hours of attendance will be as may be prescribed from time to time.
