Where You Would Work:  Iona House, Castleblaney - Co. MonaghanIona House provides 24/7 residential service to maximum of 8 service users with intellectual disabilities, physical disability, autism and complex needs. The age range at present is 24-75. Our residents require additional supports in all areas of their daily life including behaviours which challenge. 6 residents live within the main building with additional 2 self-contained apartments with 1 resident supported in each apartment at the end of the building.Staff team on a daily basis consists of 1 Team Leader and 5 Support Workers with varying shift patterns between 9-12 hours. At night, 1 Team Leader and 1 Support Worker are on a waking night. The rota pattern varies according to needs of the service but given a month in advance....

We are looking for 6 HGV Mechanics for our workshop based in Monaghan.The role will comprise of a range of duties including - To carry out fault diagnostics, Service and maintain and repair HGV vehicles, To carry out road testing and quality inspections, To keep all paperwork up to date, The mechanic will remove, repair, and replace defective parts, reassemble and fine-tune systems, and carry out routine maintenance on oil filters, brakes, and other vehicle components.
